Jay T. Cohen’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, and sports law. Jay recently was part of the Zuckerman trial team that successfully defended Gregory Craig in a high-profile federal false statements case. His litigation experience includes a variety of corporate defendants in both criminal and civil proceedings.
Jay is also part of Zuckerman Spaeder’s Sports Law Practice, which has represented various sports agencies, agents, and former players in arbitrations and civil actions.
Prior to joining Zuckerman Spaeder, Jay was a litigation assistant at an international, DC-based law firm. He worked on white collar criminal defense and sports law matters. Additionally, he assisted on a campaign finance case before the United States Supreme Court. Jay also interned for the Honorable Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy, former member of the United States Senate from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
